Our Story
About Vicki O’Connor
Vicki grew up in Narromine and has worked with people across regional NSW her entire career. She loves the country community, and it is her belief that everyone should be able to access good financial advice - regardless of where they are.
Vicki was attracted to financial services because she had seen the impact of poor advice on friends and family. She wanted to be able to give advice to people who needed it most. As a result, Vicki commenced her career as a Chartered Account in 1986 before becoming a Financial Planner in 2000.
After leading the financial services division at WHK/Crowe Horwath since 2000, Vicki decided to make the jump to start her own business in 2017 – Hell Yes! Financial Advice Pty Ltd.
Why Hell Yes?
In setting her life goals, Vicki discovered that she would work around 30% to 35% of her life. Whatever she did as work, she had better enjoy it! She had to be able to get up every morning and say Hell Yes! I want to go to work.
Throughout the years, Vicki found out that she loved the work of helping people achieve their life and financial goals. However, she did not enjoy the battle around the corporate “cost to serve.”
Vicki felt that too often corporate business interests were being put ahead of the client and team interests. Vicki strongly believes that our clients should be at the heart of everything we do, so she decided to opt-out of the corporate world to start her own business.
At Hell Yes! Vicki can now focus on what she is passionate about and what she does best - working directly with her clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
